In real-world testing, food stays above 140°F (the USDA safe serving threshold) for over two hours. Performance varies with starting temperature, ambient conditions, and how often the lid is opened. For best results: preheat the dish with boiling water first, fill it completely, and keep the lid sealed until serving.
You can cook directly in our glass baking dish or an aluminum half pan, then drop it into the Thermal Serving Dish for insulated transport and serving. The outer thermal shell itself is not oven-safe — it's engineered for insulation, not direct heat.
The interior measures 10" x 12.5" x 4.25" and holds 6 quarts. It fits our glass baking dish (5qt) or any standard aluminum half pan. That's enough for lasagna, casseroles, BBQ, large salads — typically feeds 8 to 12 people.
Double-wall insulated stainless steel with a powder-coated exterior, a ceramic inner lining for additional thermal retention, and a BPA-free Tritan lid. All components are dishwasher safe.
The Thermal Serving Dish includes the insulated base and spill-resistant lid. The glass baking dish and carry bag are sold separately — you can add them in the cart or choose a bundle that includes them.
